Top Medical Research Studies

We explored the potential of myo-inositol trispyrophosphate (ITPP) as a treatment for heart attacks and its effect on heart tissue injured by low oxygen levels. This research indicates ITPP modifies hemoglobin in red blood cells, enhancing the delivery of oxygen throughout the body.

Using an animal model for myocardial infarction, we observed that ITPP administration provided significant protection against heart failure and aided in recovery from left ventricular remodeling following the heart attack.

In our laboratory studies, heart muscle cells exposed to low oxygen levels reacted quickly to ITPP treatment, showing increased activity of a protein known as HIF-1. Interestingly, this overactivity was countered by ITPP when it was in the red blood cells, which suggests a strong connection between shear stress from blood flow and oxygen release facilitated by the modified hemoglobin.

Overall, the findings indicate that ITPP could be a game-changer in treating injuries to heart tissues related to low oxygen or ischemia. This approach may open new avenues for effectively managing damage caused by heart attacks.

Normalised pulse
This is an excellent calming aid and has notably reduced my high heart rate. I take it nightly with bacopa, and I've been sleeping better, waking up less frequently. My pulse is now normal. I appreciate this product.

After my mother passed away, I sought something calming, settling on L-theanine. It provided me with a sense of peace and balance. Unlike sleeping pills, it worked for me. Notably, my pulse, which was typically high, dropped significantly. After just two days of taking it, my pulse reduced from 90–105 to 75–85. I urge anyone facing similar issues to give it a try.

Unfortunately, I did not tolerate this product well. Even at half the dosage, I experienced rapid heartbeats and heightened anxiety. Despite trying the 100 mg version, the effects were the same.

I didn’t notice an effect, but I gave it to a loved one with hypertension and headaches. After one capsule, he had a severe headache, migraines, and panic attacks, leading us to call an ambulance. He described the experience as if he were withdrawing from heroin, and it took another two days to feel better. He's now quit smoking.

Heart attack fears

After purchasing L-theanine, I experienced severe ectopic heartbeats and rapid heart rate after following the recommended dosage for a week. It was frightening, and I nearly sought medical attention until I identified the cause. I found many others reported similar reactions and believe there should be a warning about this. I won't use it again.

I was enthusiastic about L-theanine for anxiety and mood but faced severe side effects such as trembling, heart palpitations, and difficulty concentrating. Eventually, I tried it at night, but I felt no positive effects. It simply didn’t work for me.

I tried L-theanine for my anxiety disorder, taking it alongside propranolol. After a month, I discontinued propranolol, and I found that about 85% of my anxiety vanished. I still occasionally experience palpitations, but now I sleep soundly without nightmares.

I feel calmer after taking this, especially when irritable or anxious. It helps to eat it alongside coffee.

I didn't like it; I had panic attacks with coffee. Before that, I took Nutricost, which was good.
